After a career in the United States Army Captain Kim returned home to work as an optometrist. Upon his return he was shocked by what he saw. His eyewear customers were leaving the store without buying glasses. He noticed their frustration with the lack of clarity throughout the whole buying process. They were confused by the different lens options complicated insurance benefits and unclear pricing. With the customer’s experience in mind he launched MASQ Optical pairing premium frames and lenses to offer a simple and fun way to buy glasses. Delivering quality, value, and clear pricing became the foundation of MASQ.
